Internationally famous agronomist, Federico Curtaz boasts over twenty years experience in the world of wines. He became involved in the Condé project from the very beginning, following all the stages to set up the winery and paying particular attention to every aspect that could increase the quality of the products: from selecting clones to grafting vines as well as adding the finishing touches to the new cellars.
Federico Staderini, tuscan winemaker with a great experience with Sangiovese joined Condé team in 2015. Together with him Condé is facing the challenge to switch the estate into an organic winery.
The mentor and founder of Condé, Francesco Condello manages the winery. He spends every day there, amidst his vines, his barrels and his men working sincerely and with passion to follow his production philosophy of excellence. The quest for continual improvement is central to all of the decisions taken. These can be seen in the spirit of long-term planning which characterises the running of the winery.
Francesco Condello’s daughter, Chiara, graduated in Economics from the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan before completing a CEMS Master in International Management. She began working at Condé in the summer of 2012. After gaining experience abroad she returned to Predappio and today is involved in every aspect of the family business. When she is not at the company HQ she travels through the five continents presenting the wines and sharing her passion for them.
Spending every day of the year in the fields our vinedressers, are well placed to better know, protect and look after the vines. Their work is both precious and indispensible. Their objective is to obtain well-balanced vines and grapes ripened to perfection to take to the cellars. Everyone who works in the vineyards is employed directly by the winery and work all year round on the estate, guaranteeing a qualified workforce.
In the cellars our oenologists dedicate themselves completely to our wines, respecting times, gathering the spirit and pandering to its nature. Each process takes place under the watchful eye of Stefano Zoli, who is chief oenologist at Condé and is responsible for research and innovation.
